Which industries are prohibited?
Valyuz does not support businesses in the following industries, but this list is not exhaustive, and other industries may also be outside of Valyuz's risk appetite:
- Agricultural chemicals
- Criminal or illegal activities
- Cannabis and medical marijuana
- Investment in commodities
- Immigration services (including visa and green card obtaining)
- Steroids and other products that pose a danger to health
- Adult, pornography, and related industries
- Home-made alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco
- Stolen goods (including digital and virtual goods), counterfeit goods, violation of intellectual property, and items that violate someone’s privacy
- Ammunition, guns, arms, offensive weapons, poisons, dangerous substances (as defined by applicable laws), firearms, etc.
- Financial pyramids similar to Ponzi schemes, matrix programs, and other such schemes
- Debt restructuring, credit repair, debt settlement, providing credit, and debt collections
- Operating a business that requires a license or special permit without holding such a license
- Circumvention devices
- Selling, hosting, distributing, producing, or promoting offensive materials, including those that incite racial hatred or promote discrimination based on gender, race, religion, national origin, physical ability, sexual orientation, or age
- Tash-intensiveransactions with live animals (exceptions possible, e.g., payments for horse-related products declaration riding or dog training classes)
- Transactions involving items subject to export restrictions or requiring spec/clearance
- Trade in precious metals, gemstones, jewelry, and artworks
- Audit services
- Organizing and conducting auctions
- Wholesale of alcohol and tobacco products
- Sale of petroleum products, including solid, liquid, and gaseous fuels and re
- Prescription drugs, devices, certified pharmacies
- Long-term investment-type insurance activities
- Sale of traveler’s checks or money orders, currency exchanges
- Multi-level marketing programs
- Binary options
- Used automobile dealers and sellers of used car parts
- Cultural objects (e.g., sculptures, statues, antiques, collector’s items, archaeological pieces)
- Trading of animal fur, bones, and ivory
- Production or trade in radioactive materials
- Telemarketing companies
- Counterfeiter pirated goods
- Embassies, diplomatic missions, and consulates
- Forex(FX/CFD) services, including forex holding companies; direct payments to/from forex trading companies are also restricted
Restricted industries:
- B2C/C2B activities
- Direct cryptocurrency related activities,(including trading, mining, ICO, STO, except providing services to cryptocurrency related businesses)
- Legal services
- C businesses
- Non-licensed Online Casino/Online Poker/Online Gambling/Online Betting/Prize Draws/Gift Cards/Any form of Lottery/Scratch cards and Sweepstake casinos/gaming sites.
