Job description

🎯 The role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen ourfinance function and ensure strong financial governance, capital management,and reporting within a regulated EMI environment.

This role combines hands-on financial oversight withregulatory and capital responsibility, working closely with outsourcedaccountants, auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

🧩 What you’ll do

  • Oversee     monthly billing, collections, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting     performed by in-house or outsourced accountants
  • Oversee     the recording of daily financial transactions and ensure data accuracy
  • Own     the capital management process, including capital adequacy calculations,     reporting, and monitoring in line with the Capital Management Policy
  • Act     as a Key Function Holder in accordance with Bank of Lithuania     requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance with capital regulations
  • Own     the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitor actual performance,     and prepare variance analyses
  • Coordinate     the preparation of regulatory, statutory, and management financial reports
  • Develop,     implement, and maintain finance and accounting policies and procedures
  • Support     cash flow management, including oversight of daily payments and weekly     payment cycles
  • Strengthen     internal financial controls and business control processes to ensure data     integrity and reporting accuracy
  • Prepare     management reports and financial analyses on a regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Work     closely with external auditors and advisors on audit, accounting, and tax     matters
  • Perform     additional finance-related tasks as delegated by the direct manager
